Patsy A. Samples Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy A. Samples of Danville, Ohio, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Bilyeu and Minnie Bilyeu; her husband Bob Samples; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Jordan Rine and Nealla Malone; and her siblings, Paul Bilyeu, Mabel Smith (Halley), Ruth Huston (Ed) and Betty Truex (Pat).
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Samples (late Ron Sopp), Kathy Robinson (Jack) and Lisa Mazzari (Joe); her grandchildren, Tabitha Robinson Evans (Tim), Shawn Robinson and Tricia Robinson Malone (James); her great grandchildren, Julia Rine and Nadia Evans; her grandchildren, Kelsey Robinson (Dylan Jones), Tyler Robinson (Kyleigh Boyd), Raegan, Riley, JC Malone, Adley, Barrett, Cohen Sparks, Aiden and Gracelyn Mazzari; her great great grandchild Ivory Jones; her close friend Chloe; her in-laws, Charles, Lois, Max, Louise, Don, Margie, Ruth Friedli, Bill, Jeannie and Ron Samples; her friend Flossie Lewis; and her grandchildren, Kailea Sparks and Drew Mazzari.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fischer Funeral Home (403 High St, Danville, OH 43014). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens (18260 Coshocton Ave, Mt Vernon, OH 43050).
In lieu of flowers, the girls would like for donations in her name to be made to The Mount Vernon Church of Christ 1200 Newark Road, Mt. Vernon, OH 43050 or Gentiva Hospice, 112 Harcourt Road, #3, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
