He is survived by: his son Rom Lee Smith, Jr. of Blissfield; his mother Alotta Turner (Clinton) of Blissfield; his sisters, Annetta Kramer of Shreve, Serena Shaffer of Holmesville and Hope Mutton (Lee) of Scio; his stepbrothers, Reggie Turner (Kim) of Wooster and Matt Turner (Hope) of Wooster; his grandparents, Goldie Dean of Blissfield and Frank Dean of Loudonville; and his uncles, Harry Gracyk (Reba) of Coshocton, Kevin Dean (Betty) of Loudonville and Steve Dean (Jolyn) of Blissfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
