With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alex Christopher Moritz of Dayton, Ohio, born in Tecumseh, Michigan, who passed away on June 25, 2023 at the age of 27. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Rita Moritz and Manfred Nitschmann; his aunt Kathy Carr; and his uncles, Thomas Moritz and Paul Witte.
He is survived by: his parents, Don Moritz and Heidi Moritz; his siblings, Justin Moritz (Maria) and Lauren Moritz; his siblings' children, Camille and Jackson "JJ" Moritz; his parents-in-law, Jefferson and Jana Helstad; his siblings, Eleanor, Jeffrey, Olivia, Isabel and Johnny Helstad; his grandmother Elfriede Nitschmann; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
