He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Stines and Sibbie Stines; his wife Betty Louise Stines; his son Michael Leon Stines; and his siblings, L. C. Stines, Armon Stines, Billy Joe Stines, Lavada and Betty Jean Ely.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Guerra (Don), Alton Jeffery Stines and Franklin Stines; his grandchildren, Michael A. Guerra, Serena L. Guerra (Jeff), Mark A. Guerra, Lisa Cuff (John), Christopher Stines (Lindsey), Bethany (Phil) and Adam (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Gracyn, Jadyn and Rilyn; and his siblings, James W. Stines (Kathy) and Minnie Coleman (Earl). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
