She is survived by: her children, Darnell, Nelson, Darrin Hooks, Yvonne Ivery, Jana Walton and Vera Arnold (Jefferey); her siblings, James Martin, Shirley Aldridge and Linda Smith; and her friends, Ruby Mitchell and Doris Rainey. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
