She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smith and Donna Garvin (Tucker); her brother Richard Garvin (Rick); and her stepson Stephen VanWinkle (Steve). She is survived by: her husband Dewey VanWinkle; her children, Brian Smith, Michell Saalman, Tara Bryant and Tina Moore; her stepdaughter Clarissa Fiscus; her grandchildren, Brianne Smith, Brandon Smith, Michael Saalman, Ashley Saalman and Destiny Saalman; and her sister Charlotte Garvin.
