It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann DiMatteo of Dayton, Ohio, born in Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother John R. Thompson; and her pet Cosmo. She is survived by: her husband John A. DiMatteo; her children, Laura (Don Martindale), Johnny (Crystal DiMatteo), Thomas DiMatteo and Melissa DiMatteo (Rich Smith); her grandchildren, Cassie (Randy Young), Ty Martindale (Kayla Yockel), Victoria (Garrett Wall) and Caitlyn DiMatteo; her great grandchildren, Georgia Mae Young and Lenore Eden Wall; her sisters, Kay McKinney and Jayne (Dan Hobbs); and her pet Izzy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covington Church of the Brethren – Kitchen Fund.
