She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Kavelaar and Lillian Van Kavelaar; her husband Col. James William Nordmeyer, Sr.; and her siblings, Lillian Van Kavelaar, Michael Van Kavelaar and Bobby Van Kavelaar.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Nordmeyer, Jim Nordmeyer (Melissa), John Nordmeyer (Liz Marino), Dan Nordmeyer (Terri), Marie Kralik (Bill) and Steven (Lisa); her grandchildren, Eric, Ann, Marley, Emma, Andrew, Justin, Jeff, Katie, Elisa, Jackie and James; and her siblings, David Van Kavelaar (Bette) and Milli Kahn.
