She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Smith; her parents, Agnes Garhammer and Heinrich Garhammer; and her brothers, Helmut, Rudolf and Arther Garhammer.

She is survived by: her children, Rick G. Smith, Peggy S. Weiss (Jack) and Michael R. Smith; her granddaughter Rebecca Overholser (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Aidan and Ava Overholser. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers, and friends.
