Charles James Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles James of Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Charles shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charles farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon James; his mother Pauline James; his brother Ceasar James; and his father Tyler James. He is survived by: his children, Camille James, Theresa Wells (Dale) and Charles R. James Jr. (Chuck); his grandchildren, Marcus Childs-Taylor (Muning) and Olivia Childs-Taylor; and his great grandchild Amiyah Childs.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the H. H. Roberts Mortuary (38 S Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH 45417). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the West Memory Gardens (6722 Hemple Rd, Moraine, OH 45418).
