He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Poole and Agnes Poole (Schobelock); and his siblings, Edward "Bud" (Joanne), George (Bonnie), Harold Poole and Norma Jean Hertenstein (Buck).

He is survived by: his wife Betty Poole; his children, Tina Ruble (David) and David Poole (Crystal); his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Madison Ruble, Alexa and Adia Poole; and his nieces and nephews, Teresa Cox, Bruce Hertenstein, Terry Poole and Lora Poole.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
