Charles V. Simms Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 3, 2026, at the age of 93, Charles V. Simms (Dayton, Ohio), born in Belle Center, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Charles find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alexander and Dorothy Valentine Simms; his sister Budagail Simms Kirchman; and his wife Elizabeth Ann Harlament Simms. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Gutmann (Michael), Charles (Patricia), Leslie Nagel (Bruce) and Jennifer Simms; his brother William A. Simms, Jr.; and his stepsister Martha Cammerer McCarthy. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
