He is survived by: his wife Minnie; his son Shawn; his siblings, Leroy Hollis Jr., Charles Hollis, Willie James Hollis and Irene McKinney; his children, Barbara Hollis, Earl Hollis (Jerri) and Lee Hollis Sr.; his grandchildren, Clarita Hollis Santos, Erica Thomas (Michael), Aneceya Hollis-Rice, Arrionne Birch (Tim), Karina Nelson (JJ Sr.), Kiera Potter (Donovan Sr.), Asia Lucas (James), Ashley Hollis, Lee Hollis Jr., Drew Martin Jr., Antoine'Dorsey and Antenise Knight; his sisters, Annie Mae Blanchard, Mary Frances Walker, Christine Hollis and Linda Johnson; his sister-in-law Christine Crump; and his friends, Joe Jackson, Bob Young and James H. Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He also spent 28 years with the Knights of Peter Claver Council 353, where he was honored in 2023 for his long‑standing contributions to both the community and the council.
