He was predeceased by: his wife Sandy Prather; and his parents, Freeman Prather and Nora Prather. He is survived by: his children, Chet Prather, Jr. (Lisa) and Michelle Wilson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Shea Price, Frankie Price, Nathan Prather (Kammy), Ethan Prather (Desiree) and Chris Prather; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Medlock, Gunner Dear, Wyatt Price, Jade Price, Dalton Price, Ridge Price, Makenna Prather and Remington Prather.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
