She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Frazier and Harry J. Frazier. She is survived by: her children, Carol Hergenrather, Sharon Grimes (Kenny), Timothy Hergenrather and E. Arthur Ellison; her grandchildren, Sarah Grimes, Luke Grimes (Jessica), Joshua Hergenrather and Faith Millhoff (Jonathan); her great grandchildren, Lilly, Brooke and Emma Grimes; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Hergenrather and Nancy Toepher; her husband James "Jim" Douglas Hergenrather; and her daughter Ruth "Ruthie" Hergenrather.
