She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Barnes and Sarah Jane Barnes; her husband Virgil; her son Vernon; and her siblings, Nancy, Martha, Tilman, Clarence, Thomas Francis, Sylvester, Ellison, Amanda Ellen, Mary Elizabeth and Issac.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Ray (Corinna Ruth) and Ruth Ann (Bill); her daughter-in-law Jocelyn Swafford; her siblings, Deloris Martin and Ezra Barnes; her sister-in-law Barbara Swafford; her grandchildren, Jonathan, James, Connor, Natalie Oksana, Matthew, Joshua and Serenity; and her great grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Lauren, Roland and Remington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
