He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Baker and Mary Baker; his daughter Shawntrell Marie Baker (Shawn); his sister-in-law Vivian Baker; and his nephew Highlayn Jenkins.

He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his siblings, Vicki Brown (Terry), Linda Palmer (Ed), Steve Baker, Mark Baker (Joan) and Tom Baker; and his aunt Barb Boudinet.
