David C. Strayer Obituary
In loving memory of David C. Strayer of Dayton, Ohio, who departed this world on September 12, 2024 at the age of 70. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father George Strayer; and his stepfather John Hiatt. He is survived by: his mother Mary Lou Strayer; his brother Steven Strayer (Beth); and his nephews, Shawn Strayer, Eric Pietrzak, Joel Strayer and Lauren Strayer. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
