She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Polk and Nancy Pickering (Lamberson); and her brother Joseph Polk. She is survived by: her children, Jilinda Johnson (Winner), Joshua Sedillo and Melissa Leutwyler (Sedillo); and her grandchildren, Brielle Johnson, Bishop Johnson and Julius-Thomas Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Pink Ribbon Girls.
