He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Miller and Olive Miller (Rooker); his brother Ken; his father-in-law Jerry Laffey; his brother-in-law Tim Laffey; his niece Lindsay Schlemmer; and his friend David Bockrath.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Laffey); his mother-in-law Earlyne Laffey; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Miller, Laureen Laffey, Eileen Vagedes (Todd Bruner), Mary Beemsterboer (Dan), Jim Laffey (Debbie) and Mike Laffey (Laurie); and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Miller (Liz), Robb Miller (Cindy), Scott Miller, Jerry Laffey (Jeni), Josh Vagedes, Luke Laffey, Stacy Bush (Chris), Megan Laffey (Josh) and Mia Beemsterboer. He is also survived by his cousins in IL and KY, several great nephews, great nieces, and great, great nephews and friends.
