He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Eastridge of Dayton and John Eastridge of West Milton; his grandchildren, Brian Kendrick (Lindsay), John Eastridge II, Mandy Eastridge and Nick Masters (Charlotte); and his great grandchildren, Eliza and Delaney Masters. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

“The world lost a good man. I have been friends with Don's son John Eastridge 12 years, and met Don shortly after, when he welcomed me to join them for their family reunion. I've been to his house playing bingo, for Christmas and countless other family reunions and events. He became extended family to me. I put flooring in his house twice with John, built their front deck. It became harder to communicate over the years as he lost his hearing but he always seemed happy and was always kind to me.”
