She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbert W. Richardson; her parents, Mose Hairston, and Mollie Hairston, Sr.; her parents-in-law, Amos and Sinnie Richardson; and her brother-in-law Mustafa Kenyatta.

She is survived by: her sons, Crispen of Dayton, Ohio, Gerald (Clarece) of Dayton, Ohio and Demetrius Richardson (Jazzmin) of Dayton, Ohio; her grandchildren, Ava Richardson and Gerald Richardson II; her siblings, Angeline Johnson of Flint, MI, Mose Hairston III and Terence Hairston; her sister-in-law Syni L. Champion (Richard) of Sacramento, CA; and her aunts, Ella Bransford and Hattie Hairston of Flint, MI. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
