With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy M. Crane (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband James A. Crane; her son Steven R. Crane; her daughter-in-law Darlene Wilcox; her granddaughters, Katherine and Kelly Crane; and her great grandchildren, La'Kell Newland, Zane McKinley and Jaelle Bates.

She is survived by : her children, Paul L. Wilcox Jr., Terri L. Littlejohn (Randall) and Yvonne S. Letner (Dallas); her grandchildren, Cecily, Daniel, Erik (Yvonne), Stevin Crane (Tiffany), Kristin Powell, Desiree, Christopher (Kristen), Derrick (Lea), David Wilcox (Brandy), Tierra Redmon (William), Stephanie (Maurice) and Samantha Letner; and also Deborah Crane. She is also survived by 41 Great-Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (5370 Dayton-Liberty Rd, Dayton, OH 45417). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at the West Memory Gardens (6722 Hemple Rd, Moraine, OH 45418).

In recent years, she became an Alzheimer's Association Ambassador to aid in the mission to end Alzheimer's disease.
