She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Routhier and Ida D. Jackson; her son-in-law Michael Cartwright Sr.; her grandchildren, Steven Muhammad (Leah), Michael Cartwright Jr., Corbet Routhier, Sandy Durgans (Ken), Tammie Cartwright and Autymn Cartwright; her nephew Alonzo Peavy; and her nieces, Brenda Dumas, Martha McCluskey, Beverly Harrison and Virginia Carlisle. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
