He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ann Sendelbach Hausfeld; his children, Tom Hausfeld (Barb), Jane Braun (Marc), Dave Hausfeld (Tracy) and Jim Hausfeld (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Jeff Hausfeld (Alice), Annie Teixeira (Jeff), Ted Hausfeld, Cappy Hausfeld, Kevin Braun (Sasha), Katie Braun, Ashley Scott (Dustin), Courtney Swinkels (Roel), Graham Hausfeld (Chaney), Sam Hausfeld and Charlie Hausfeld. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
