She was predeceased by: her husband Manouchehr; her daughter Simeen; and her brothers, Mansour and Paul. She is survived by: her children, Hamid Akhbari (Marlena) and Helen Martin (James); her grandchildren, Michael Akhbari (Gayden), Elyse Akhbari (Stephen Murphy), Nicholas Martin (Millie), David Martin (Amy) and Jusmine Martin (Blair Rutherford); her great grandchildren, Allana Martin, Sophia Martin, Margaret, Annie Akhbari, Lydia and Connor Murphy; her sisters, Nosrat Hajiaghaii (Qasem) and Mahin Akhbari; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Akhbari. She is also survived by friends and relatives.
