She is survived by: her daughters, Angela (Edwyn), Ventus, Ondrel and Brigette Shepherd; her grandchildren, Jamar Shackelford (Mikeyoun), Irving Wood IV (Taylor) and Davion Colter, I (Shay); her great grandchildren, Jamar Jr., Mykell Shackelford, Da'Veah and Dior Colter; her siblings, Julia Sanders, Gladys Zackary (Bill), Spring Curtiss, Rosemarie Slaughter (Darrell), Willie "Red" and Dwayne Sanders (Kim); her sister-in-law Debra Shepherd-Epps; her uncle Tom Patterson; her children, Herman Sutton and LeaQwin Roebuck; her grandchildren, Keishaun Johnson of Ronald, III, Nyla Hampton, Christian Cross, Qjuan Lane and Kamri Johnson; her sons-in-law, David "Butch" Colter and Irving Wood III; her niece Diana Jackson; her nephew Rhue Zackary; and her close friends, Rita Martin, Doug Fullen, Donna Walker, Dian Wilson, Linda Ross, Mary Cade, Betty Hitchcock and Denise Jennings. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
