He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Eshbaugh and Susan Ruff (Edward); his grandchildren, Lauren Robbins (Kyle), Lindsey Jehle (Chris), Eddie Ruff, Sam Ruff and Emilie Eshbaugh; his great grandchild Emerson Claire Jehle; his close friend Ginger Allen; and his pets, Riley, Lilly and Buster.

Donations may be made in Carl's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
