He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Schelcher and Lena E. Schelcher Sr. (Forlines); his wife Jean; and his brother Larry D. Schelcher. He is survived by: his children, Frank Schelcher (Kimberly) and Amanda Borgert (Joe); his grandchildren, Becky, Maddie, Frank Schelcher and Katie Liddy; his sisters, Veronica Dale and Rose Verner; his sister-in-law Beverly; and his close friend Miriam Taylor. He is also survived by 12 nephews and 5 nieces.
