He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Kilgo Addison and Marjorie Addison (Bines); his daughters, Phyllis DeVaughn and Wendy Jarvis-Kennedy; and his siblings, Martha Ann Lawton, Mary Cunningham, Morris, Thomas, Will Louis, James and Kilgore Addison.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah P. Addison; his children, Valerie Williams (Michael), Iris Grier (Lawrence), Yolanda Salaam-Addison (Paul), Tara Addison, Winfred "Wayne" Addison (Jimmie) and Julia Addison; his stepchildren, Sandra Caesar (Charles), Sheila Morgan and Norvain Morgan (Yvonne); his son-in-law Thomas DeVaughn; his brother Dock Addison (Saundra); his siblings-in-law, Inez Addison and Henry Lawton; his nephew Curtis Cunningham; and his friend James Moore. He is also survived by grandchildren, (22) great grandchildren and (2) great, great grandchildren.

Masks and social distancing are required.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you would please consider a donation in memoriam to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the USO, the American Heart Association, or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton - all causes which held importance in Fred's life.
