We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2025, at the age of 97, Freda Ruth Parker (Dayton, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Caswell Tipton Cox and Margaret Elizabeth Cox (Houston); her husband Foley Parker; her granddaughter Jennifer Marie Mercs; and her siblings, Roy, Lillie, Lucy, Ed, Albert, Mae, Myrtle, Dorothy, Charles, William, Franklin and Roscoe.

She is survived by: her children, Willa Mercs, Diana Hunter (Bill) and Timothy Parker; her son-in-law Johnny Mercs; her granddaughter Michele Mercs; and her friend John Hamler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
