With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick Alexander McCoy (Dayton, Ohio), born in Jackson, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie McCoy and Earnestine McCoy; and his siblings, Lawrence McCoy, Annie Jean Douglas and Alfastine Barnes.

He is survived by: his wife Esther of Dayton, OH; his sister Lonzine (Cal) of Dayton, OH; his children, Anthony of Dayton, OH, Mark (Rhonda) of Cincinnati, OH, Angela (Tony) of Southfield, MI and Jenny; and his friend Eugene Brown "Geno". He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
