Frederick H. Riggs Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick H. Riggs Jr. in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Frederick leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Frederick may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Riggs and Kathleen Riggs; his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Betty Christian and Speedy Riggs.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rick Riggs, Sharon and Kim. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428).
