Gene Dutiel Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Gene Dutiel of Dayton, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid Gene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Duteil and Anna Belle Duteil; his daughter Cherie Deis; and his brothers, Williams Duteil and Harold "Hal" Duteil.

He is survived by: his son Craig Dutiel (Jenny); his grandchildren, Destiny Kimmerly and Isaac Dutiel; his great grandchild Ava (Cuz Sandy); and the mother of his children Sandy Dutiel.
