It is with sadness that the passing of Geneva Tyree in Dayton, Ohio is shared. Geneva, born on April 16, 1934, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Geneva will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bailey and Josephine Williams; her brothers, Dewitt Bailey and Joe Louis Smith; and her daughters, Veronica Tyree-Bennett and Amy Neilson.
She is survived by: her husband Albert P. Tyree; her brother George Bailey of Tuscaloosa, AL; her daughters, Joyce Bullard (James) of Manassas, VA, Cecilia Greene (George) of McGaheysville, VA and Janet Davis (Dayton); and her son-in-law Michael Neilson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
