He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Philpot and Mossie McKamey Philpot; his stepmother Christine Brewer Philpot; and his siblings, John Robert Philpot (Jay), Donald Philpot, Ernie Dale Philpot, Larry Philpot, America Mae Robinson and Brenda Sue Sizemore.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Philpot; his children, Rickey Dale Philpot (Emily) and Rhonda Lynn Adkins; his granddaughters, Sara and Kaitlyn Ervin; his great grandchild Aniyah Blackmon; his granddaughter Olivia Frederick (Corie); his great grandchildren, Cam Frederick, Cael Frederick, Emily Herron and Spencer Ervin (Iman); his children, Oakleigh, Lincoln, Dallas and Tatum; his friends, Terrill Gevedon and Leophas Smith; Spencer Ervin Jr., Brady Ervin, Grace Ervin, Aidan Yamak, Adam Yamak and Aya Yamak.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home (324 W Main St, New Lebanon, OH 45345). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home- New Lebanon (324 W Main St, New Lebanon, OH 45345).
