The family announces the passing of George Earl Stewart of Dayton, Ohio on October 21, 2026. George, born on September 30, 1947, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stewart and Katherine Stewart (Barnthouse); and his brother Richard "Rick" Stewart. He is survived by: his son Jason Stewart (Amy); his girlfriend Karen Carmichael; his grandson James Stewart; his sisters, Linda Sapp (Dan), Melody Stewart, Faye Jackson (Roger) and Ginger Kinney (Chris); and his sister-in-law Genet Stewart. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd, Englewood, OH 45322). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any National Park of your choice or Aullwood Audubon Center (1000 Aullwood Rd, Dayton, OH 45414) in George's memory.
