He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald V. Mintz Sr. and Marie Mintz Burchett; his in-laws, Lloyd and Mary Bowman; his son Corey Mintz; his sister Ava Mintz; his uncle Cal; his aunt Jerline Livesay; his cousin JC Livesay; his brother-in-law Bill Simmons; and his great-nephew Kyle Grubb.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Mintz; his son Jerry Mintz (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ashley Simpson (Keagan) and Dylan Mintz; his brother Donald Mintz (Debbie); his cousin Denny Livesay (Birdie); and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Bowman and Sheila Simmons. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins.
