We announce the death of Greg Blackmore (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 67. Greg will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Gordon Blackmore and Harriett Blackmore. He is survived by: his significant other Debbie Ashbaugh; his son Adam Blackmore (Samantha MacArthur); his stepchildren, Christina Ashbaugh, Jason Ashbaugh (Angel Wolford), Alicia Ashbaugh (Sam Jenkins) and Amber Ashbaugh; his grandchildren, Destiny Coon, Kayley Shampton-Ashbaugh, Luke Shampton, Troy Ashbaugh, Tristan Ashbaugh, Kelsea Jenkins, Brenden Wright and Jack Wyen; and his great grandchildren, Ryder, Lainey, Oaklynn Fae, River and Opal.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Church in Dayton or the Montgomery/Greene County Humane Society in Greg's honor.
