She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernard Esker and Anna Esker (Haemer); her son Dennis Goodwin; and her siblings, Ruth Daniels, Ann Lilly and Bernard Esker.

She is survived by : her husband John Goodwin; her daughter Gail Valentine (Dan); and her grandchildren, Nicole Miller, Cory Miller and John-Ryan Miller. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
