He is survived by: his children, Ernest Burgess (Elaine) and Kimberly Felice Bethel, MD; and his grandchildren, Andre (Ketina), Omar Lipscomb, Wm Michael, Madison, Maya Murray, Evanie and DeAndre Burgess.
