It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Lacking (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Lacking and Edna M. Lacking; his sister Rutha Roach; and his great grandchild Chappy Gainer. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Lacking of Miami, FL, Pamela Young, James R. Lacking (Vonetta) of Dayton, OH and Roderick "Dion" Lacking (Dawnise) of Los Angeles, CA; and his sisters, Jean Reese of Dayton, OH and Clara "Baby" Lacking of Dayton, OH. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
