He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnstone and Emily Johnstone; his children, Carol Ann Johnstone and Steven Y. Johnstone; and his brother Bruce Johnstone.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Johnstone; his children, Jim Johnstone (Becky) and Susan Cutshall (Ron); his grandchildren, Jessica, Nathaniel (Abbi), Kristin (Jared), Daniel, Micah, Nicholas, Jonathan and Ainsley (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Maggie, Evelyn, Sammie, Lochlan, Elijah, Ailee and Aubree; and his nephew Tim Johnstone. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5600 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213).
