He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnstone and Emily Johnstone; his children, Carol Ann Johnstone and Steven Y. Johnstone; and his brother Bruce Johnstone.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Johnstone; his children, Jim Johnstone (Becky) and Susan Cutshall (Ron); his grandchildren, Jessica, Nathaniel (Abbi), Kristin (Jared), Daniel, Micah, Nicholas, Jonathan and Ainsley (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Maggie, Evie, Sammie, Lachlan, Elijah, Ailee and Aubree; and his nephew Tim Johnstone. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
