He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore LaVoy and Matilda LaVoy; his wife Eleanor LaVoy (Nachtrab); his siblings, Margaret Vogan, Ruth Meyers, Marie Kent of Dolores LaVoy, OP, Lois LaVoy and Richard LaVoy; his son-in-law Jerome Burke; and his grandson James Burke.
He is survived by: his children, Eileen Burke, Joyce Wessels (Frank), Jan Salstrom, John Salstrom, Renee Daly (John) and Kenneth LaVoy (Michele); his siblings, Joyce LaVoy and Raymond LaVoy; his grandchildren, Angela O'Neil (Sean), Frank Wessels (Erin), Seoka Salstrom, Mathew Salstrom (Caroline), John M. Daly and Claire Daly; and his great grandchildren, Owen O'Neil, Emma O'Neil and Frank J. Wessels.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Dayton, OH 45432). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Luke Catholic Church (1440 N Fairfield Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432).
