He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Payton and Mayme Payton; his son Tom Payton; and his siblings, Betty Hoke, Carl Payton and Carol Wiley.
He is survived by: his wife Dee; his daughter Stacey Weber (Ray); and his grandchildren, Allie and Brady Weber.
