It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Leon Underwood (Dayton, Ohio), who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan Sr. Underwood and Ruthelma Underwood; and his nephew Joshua Underwood. He is survived by: his children, Kellee Baynes (Jerell), AuJenné Cooper (Preston), Je'Bri Underwood (Dominic) and Kiki Underwood; his grandchildren, Lauree, Dominic Jr., Gianni, Journee, Jade, Jayden and Aaliyah; his siblings' children, Marcus Underwood, Natasha Underwood and Sarah Underwood; his brothers, Jonathan Jr. Underwood (Brenda) and Edwin Underwood; his aunt Queen Esther Moore; his former wife Carol Quinn; and his close friend Kim Smith. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
As a correctional officer with big dreams and a big heart, he established the Preface Foundation to help recently released women from prison and wrote his first screenplay, Beautiful Earth, to bring awareness to the cause.
