He is survived by: his mother June Marie Parks; his children, Dana Lamar Davis (Stephanie), Chawana Lynn Bennett II (Robert) and LaShawn Denise McLemore; his close friends, Ludie Parks Jr., Marshall Parks (Merna) and Michael Nabors; his sisters, Beverly Parks and Yvonne Marshall; his extended family, Gloria Perry, Louis Davis (Sabrina) and Richard Davis (Anita); his grandchildren, Danae Davis, Charles McLemore III, Danisha Davis, Chaleah Bennett, Charlee McLemore, Mario Sledge, Miracle Walton and Teshawn Mills; his son-in-law Robert Bennett; his godsons, Masito Kidd and David Ellington Sr.; his daughters, Anita, Shaw and Bridget Gullatte Horton; and his caregivers, Anna, Shiree Wells and Darrilyn Russell Madison. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
