Prewitt III, Aysia Prewitt, Halle Prewitt, Carmen Berry, Keyshawn Berry, Nyla Price, DaSean Murrell Prewitt, Trina Murrell and Travell Murrell; his great grandchildren, Kamara Thomas, Kaydence Thomas, Kelden Snead, Jace Berry, Khalani Butler, Da'Sean Murrell Jr. Ka'Niyah Knight and Ka'Mauri Abernathy; his close friends, Reverend Robert Jackson, Reverend Bester Peterson and Deacon Kenny Smith; his sisters, Gwen Lillard and Saundra Johnson; and his daughter Stacy Golding. He is also survived by cousins, God-children, nieces, nephews, other friends.
Pastor Emeritus Jesse James Prewitt, Sr. transitioned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
