She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Schimmel and Jane Schimmel; and her sister Jane Miller. She is survived by: her daughter Kristian Scarpitti (Andy). She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home - Kettering (2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton, OH 45429).
