He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Briggs of Dayton, OH and D'Juan Briggs of Jersey City, NJ; his grandchildren, Carla Calhoun of Flint, MI, Jaylan and J'Juan Briggs of Dayton, OH; his sisters-in-law, Lucile, Vonnie Happy and Marsha Crosby; and his sibling's children, Cheryl Copeland, Leonard Gaffney III and Raymond Gaffney.
